ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival Day

Fly or drive to Edmonton, capital city of Alberta and major cultural and educational centre.
Entrance to Muttart Conservatory, an innovative botanical garden and best-know architectural landmark of Edmonton.
Welcome dinner.

Day 2: Edmonton

Breakfast.
Guided tour of the Legislature Buildings of Alberta, for an overview of the history of the province and insight into the legislative process.
Entrance to the Royal Alberta Museum to learn about the heritage of the region and its natural environment.
Free time at West Edmonton Mall, the largest shopping mall of North America.
Group dinner.

Day 3: Edmonton – Jasper

Breakfast.
Drive to Jasper, a small town in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, surrounded by glacier-fed lakes and an abundance of wildlife.
Free time to explore Jasper at leisure.
Tickets to Jasper SkyTram, the highest and longest aerial tramway in Canada, for an unforgettable view of the Rocky Mountains.
Bowling and pizza dinner.

Day 4: Jasper – Banff

Breakfast.
Glacier experience at Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre. Explore the ancient Athabasca Glacier on a giant Ice Explorer.
Drive to Banff, a small alpine town located in one of Canada???s oldest national park.
Stop at Lake Louise, the iconic turquoise glacier-fed lake.
Entrance to Banff Hot Springs for a relaxing time in Canada???s highest hot springs.
Group dinner.

Day 5: Banff - Calgary

Breakfast.
Scavenger hunt activity at Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies through the gateway of the Rockies exhibit.
Guided tour at Cave and Basin National Historic Site, to explore bubbling mineral waters, and an underground cave.
Drive to Calgary, Alberta???s largest city, soaked in the western Canadian way of life.
Group dinner.

Day 6: Calgary – Drumheller – Calgary

Breakfast.
Drive to Drumheller, once a coal mining town but now the capital of the world.
Nature walk at Hoodoos Trail to check out the unique sandstone pillars of the Badlands.
Visit of Atlas Coal Mine National Historic Site. Discover the last of the Drumheller Valley coal mines which operated from 1936 to 1979.
Entrance to Royal Tyrell Museum, home to one of the world???s largest displays of dinosaurs.
Drive back to Calgary.
Farewell dinner.

Day 7: Departure Day

Breakfast.
Afternoon entrance to the National Music Centre, a national catalyst for discovery, innovation and renewal through music.
Drive or fly to home city.
