ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival Day

Drive or fly to Vancouver
Ferry ride to Nanaimo, lovely harbour city with a multitude of cultural and recreational opportunities.
Nature walk through Petroglyph Provincial Park. Stretch your legs and discover traditional First Nations' rock carvings from over 1000 years ago.
Welcome dinner, bowling and pizza.

Day 2: Nanaimo - Tofino

Breakfast.
Nature walk in Cathedral Grove, an old-growth forest of towering ancient Douglas Fir trees.
Drive to Tofino, beautiful coastal town famous for its sandy beaches, surfing and rugged coastline.
Visit of Tofino Botanical Gardens, the wettest, wildest, and most western garden in North America.
Visit of Roy Henry Vickers Art Gallery, showcasing the art of the well-renowned Canadian First Nations artist.
Group dinner.

Day 3: Tofino - Ucluelet

Breakfast.
Outdoor educational program focused on coastal rainforest ecosystem or marine biology.
Drive to Ucluelet, charming town rich in wildlife and rainforest trails.
Walk the picturesque Lighthouse Loop Trail at the tip of Ucluelet Peninsula. Discover the active lighthouse as well as spectacular coastal views.
Group dinner.

Day 4: Ucluelet

Breakfast.
Entrance to Ucluelet Aquarium. Check out all the different fish and invertebrates from the local waters.
Kayaking tour of Ucluelet Harbour. Take part in a safe 2.5-hour tour along the shoreline and enjoy spectacular wildlife viewing.
Farewell dinner.

Day 5: Departure Day

Breakfast.
Drive to Nanaimo Ferry Terminal and ferry ride to Vancouver.
Drive or fly to home city.
