ITINERARY

Day 1: Itinerary

Drive to Calgary, a city situated at the confluence of the Bow River and the Elbow River in the province of Alberta and famous for having the Calgary Stampede, a massive July rodeo festival that started from the farming exhibitions.
Entrance to the National Music Centre, a national interactive centre preserving and celebrating Canada’s music history through various educational programs, performances, artist incubation and exhibitions.
Music/dance groups: Option to arrange a performance at the National Music Centre.
Entrance to Glenbow Museum. Discover the history of Western Canada and its Aboriginal culture.
Lunch at an outdoor food market or local food truck.
Interactive activity specific to your group – ie. Music clinic, language workshop, international cooking class.
Entrance to the Calgary Tower. Admire a breath-taking 360-degree panoramic view of the city, prairies, foothills and even the Rocky Mountains!
Drive back to your school at the end of the afternoon/early evening.
Optional: You may want to switch one of the suggested activities with an escape room experience: use strategy and critical thinking to solve a mystery as a team.
